Citymind's AI chatbot deployed in Prague 6, a district of the Czech capital, identified identity cards as its strongest single topic, accounting for 16.1 percent of all queries with a 75.6 percent answer accuracy, while the chatbot received an average user rating of 4.05 out of 5, per a Citymind case study published in 2026.
"There are a huge number of companies offering AI assistants for public administration. Choosing a quality, safe and effective solution is not easy. Our involvement in the CommuniCity project ensured we had a professional selection of a quality solution, a fast deployment and a transparent process," said the Director of KITT 6, representative of Prague 6, in the case study.
For a large Prague borough, the main challenge is not volume but the diversity of questions and the difficulty of navigating a complex office structure. Citizens want to know what to do, where, and what comes next, without having to identify which department owns which process.
The Prague 6 deployment was funded through CommuniCity, an EU Commission initiative that supports European cities in adopting responsible AI. Citymind's involvement came via that project, which pre-selected quality vendors, enabling a fast deployment and a transparent procurement process.
The chatbot uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation hosted on Microsoft Azure servers in the EU via Azure OpenAI Service, with ISO 27001-certified security, full GDPR, AI Act, and Data Act compliance, automatic detection of up to 150 languages, and the Citymind Manager admin panel.
Beyond ID cards at 16.1 percent, the chatbot handles a wide range of citizen inquiries across the borough's complex office structure. A standout feature is its surfaced set of unanswered questions, which the city uses as a signal of website or process gaps.
Citymind Manager includes a one-click button to open unanswered questions and explore related conversations, turning the chatbot into a website-improvement diagnostic. The Prague 6 case positions the chatbot not just as a citizen service but as a feedback loop into public communication and digital infrastructure.
