Intesa Sanpaolo, one of Europe's largest banking groups with 95.7 billion euro market capitalization, deployed an AI assistant for HR in collaboration with Data Reply. The virtual assistant allows employees to access information and perform administrative tasks through a conversational interface. Built on RAG technology, the system provides precise answers with direct source links and a feedback loop for continuous improvement. Currently serving nearly 5,000 employees across 3 integrated portals, the AI assistant handles over 10,000 daily-updated general content items. Employee time dedicated to information retrieval is estimated reduced by 70%, with wait times for manager or administrator responses eliminated.
