JPMorgan Chase's LLM Suite platform connects large language models from OpenAI and Anthropic to the bank's internal data and applications, PaySpace Magazine reported in April 2026. About 250,000 employees, the entire workforce except branch and call centre staff, have access, and half use it roughly every day, according to chief analytics officer Derek Waldron. "When we rolled out LLM Suite to all our employees in 2024, uptake was viral," he said. The system is updated every eight weeks as the bank feeds it more data from its databases and applications. Uses span divisions. Lawyers analyse contracts with it, and a coding assistant has raised productivity for technology teams by 10% to 20%. In investment banking, Waldron showed it generating a five-page presentation with the latest news, earnings and a peer comparison in about 30 seconds, and the bank is training AI to draft confidential memos for prospective M&A clients. The EVEE Intelligent Q&A tool improved call centre resolution times with context-aware responses, and in payments the Turbo platform uses language models to turn natural-language requirements such as Jira tickets into structured components for validating payment flows in a business that processes more than $10 trillion a day across 160 countries. The article places LLM Suite within a wider programme backed by an $18 billion annual technology budget and 450 AI use cases in production. Cumulatively, the bank's AI initiatives have saved it nearly $1.5 billion through fraud prevention, personalisation, trading, operational efficiency and credit decisions; this figure covers the whole programme, not LLM Suite alone. In wealth management, advisers find information up to 95% faster, and the bank projects AI will let advisers expand their client rosters by 50% over three to five years.
