Huanui College NZ Deploys AI Buddy Tutoring Platform School-Wide

Huanui College, an international school in New Zealand offering Cambridge IGCSE and A Level programmes, completed a 3+ year partnership evolution with Tutopiya's AI Buddy — Tutopiya's longest-standing school collaboration. The platform scaled from 60 pilot students to 275 students and 30 teachers across 5 grades (IGCSE Year 9, 10, 11, AS Year 12, A2 Year 13), making up approximately 300 total licenses. The white-labelled solution is now central to classroom delivery, with Huanui College branding and logo throughout the platform and integration to the school website. The partnership began with one-to-one personalized tutoring lessons to address Huanui's core challenge: limited tutor availability and lack of right teacher resources, particularly for specialized subjects and exam preparation in regions where qualified tutors and Cambridge-aligned resources may be scarce. Over time, the partnership shifted from individual tutoring to transferred credits on a digitized platform, then to a 60-student pilot cohort in 2025, and finally to full school-wide integration.
