Multilingual Voice AI Agents Deployment in India

Sarvam AI has partnered with EkStep and AI4Bharat to deploy multilingual Voice AI agents across India. The deployment enables Indians to interact with government services, banking, healthcare, and other essential services in their native language through AI-powered voice agents. The agents are built on Sarvam's proprietary IndicVoice models, supporting all major Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and others. Major telecom operators including Airtel, Jio, and Vi are integrating these voice AI agents into their customer service platforms. Device manufacturers are pre-installing the voice AI assistants on smartphones and feature phones. The AI agents can handle complex conversations including bill payments, plan changes, new connections, and grievance redressal in multiple Indian languages. Over 100 million users have accessed services through these voice AI agents since launch. The system processes millions of voice interactions daily across banking, government helplines, and healthcare services. Sarvam's voice AI achieves over 90% accuracy in language understanding across 10+ Indian languages, significantly improving digital inclusion for non-English speakers.
