Silvaco APEC SiC Power Device TCAD Collaboration

Silvaco Group announced an expanded strategic partnership with Advanced Power Electronics Corp. (APEC), a leading developer of silicon and silicon carbide (SiC) power semiconductor devices based in Taiwan. Under this collaboration, APEC significantly upgraded and expanded its technology and design flows with Silvaco's leading TCAD and EDA solutions, including Victory Device 2D simulation tools, Gateway™, and SmartSpice™. This expanded deployment enables APEC to accelerate the development of advanced silicon carbide power devices for automotive, industrial, renewable energy, and consumer electronics applications while optimizing device performance and time-to-market.
