Allegis Group Saves 150,000 Hours with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Builds ALTA Translation Assistant on Azure AI Services

Allegis Group, a talent and workforce solutions company, has built an AI ecosystem on Microsoft tools with TEKsystems Global Services, its internal systems integrator, according to an October 2025 Microsoft customer story. The stack combines Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services and the E3/E5 productivity suites, governed with Microsoft Purview and Sentinel, while Viva Connections dashboards and Power BI reports track adoption and impact. More than 18,000 employees actively use Copilot, saving more than 150,000 hours across initiatives. Adoption stands at 70%, with a target of more than 85%, and GitHub Copilot contributes about 250 lines of code per user each month. Allegis invested in foundational training to address employees' fears about AI. The AI team built ALTA, the Allegis Language Translation Assistant, on Azure AI Services. Allegis had been paying nearly $900,000 to translate 1,400 documents through third-party vendors, with turnaround times of three to four days; ALTA translates in minutes with 90 to 95% accuracy and has processed more than 2,000 documents, saving an estimated $1.5 million so far. Using Microsoft 365 Copilot alongside GitHub Copilot also helped cut a two-month testing cycle to three days. A PTO Calculator agent built with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI Services, Copilot Studio and Power Apps lets analysts upload an employee ID and contract and get accrual balances instantly, replacing calculations that took up to 30 minutes. Case closure times fell from 31 hours to 13, accuracy was 100% across 877 accruals, and about 8.5 hours of analyst time are saved each week. A compliance team of 17 that manages more than 85 processes a week uses Copilot to summarise meetings and draft communications, and its Data Insights Assistant answers natural-language questions about structured and unstructured data, saving 30 to 60 minutes per analysis. "Sometimes the simplest applications deliver the hardest-hitting ROI," said Anshuman Jain, Enterprise Architect for AI. Allegis is now piloting a multi-agent solution for third-party risk management that automates reviews across legal, security, data privacy, architecture and finance teams.
