Bangkok Hospital's premier Health Design Center (HDC) — operating under JCI global accreditation for more than 50 years — deployed Agnos AI's Smart Patient Management System to orchestrate 70-plus check-up packages for 200-400 patients per day, cutting average wait times by 59 percent, lifting utilisation rate (patient service capacity) by 15 percent, raising staff satisfaction 52 percent, and pushing client satisfaction to 4.7 out of 5. "If a patient needs an ultrasound but isn't ready, the AI will send them to another available test first and have them return later, preventing unproductive waiting," said Dr Kewalin Rungsinaporn, Director of the Health Design Center, describing how the AI co-pilot reshaped the routing of complex, multi-station check-up sequences versus the previous linear 1-2-3 queuing approach. HDC's old manual system relied on staff and paper order slips, creating bottlenecks between examination rooms because each staff member focused only on their own section. Earlier attempts to deploy off-the-shelf queue systems from other vendors had failed because the process was too complex for standard first-in, first-out logic. The Agnos AI co-pilot now considers each patient's full test list, station wait times, clinical priorities, and appointment schedule to recommend the optimal examination sequence and design the fastest route across the centre. The deployment surfaces real-time wait-time estimates through TV displays at the department for unconnected patients and via mobile LINE OA notifications, and gives managers a live dashboard showing high-traffic zones and resource-utilisation health maps so staff can rebalance on the fly. The system also auto-fills a digital health questionnaire before arrival and pairs prior records with relevant package suggestions. Beyond the core KPIs, client feedback cited 4.7/5 for information clarity, 4.6/5 for time satisfaction, and 9/10 for likelihood to recommend; staff survey results listed real-time patient tracking, efficient queue management, fast communication, and a systematic workflow as the four wins. Reflecting on the deeper collaboration, Dr Somrit Jantarapratin, Deputy Group CIO of Bangkok Hospital Group 1, said the centre is now scoping expansion into a hospital-wide Smart Checkup service and ultimately a hospital-wide Smart OPD. The same playbook is being rolled out across other Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) facilities, including its Pattaya partner hospital which recently announced a multi-year collaboration with Agnos Health.
