Austria's Federal Ministry for National Defence deployed "ChatZentDoc," an OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) tool built on IBM watsonx.ai, to help defense analysts query and classify daily-updated open-source data via natural-language questions with source-attributed answers. The NLP system, evolved from IBM Watson Explorer used since 2016, addresses hybrid threats while staying compliant with GDPR, IT Security Act, and EU AI Act.

UNIQA SEE built an Azure AI medical referral solution with Document Intelligence and OpenAI, cutting claims processing time 90% (15-30 min to 2-3 min). The end-to-end pipeline extracts, validates, and integrates referral letter and invoice data from multiple healthcare providers into UNIQA's core claims system, and a new self-service web/mobile app lets customers submit medical referral letters digitally. UNIQA SEE became the first insurer in Southeastern Europe to deploy an AI-powered business process solution of this kind, co-built with Microsoft Cloud Solution Architects via hackathons.

AI Factory Austria AI:AT has realised the first successful practical example of its support approach with the Viennese technology company Zenta Solutions. As the national contact point for high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI), it supported the company's smooth access to European supercomputing resources.
