AGIBOT, a Chinese robotics company specializing in embodied intelligence, has deployed its AGIBOT G2 humanoid robots into Longcheer Technology's live tablet production lines, marking the world's first large-scale industrial implementation of embodied AI in core production workflows in consumer electronics manufacturing. The AGIBOT G2 robots work alongside human operators in real manufacturing environments, primarily deployed at the MMIT (Multimedia Integrated Testing) stations, delivering stable, continuous operation. The integration from pilot to mass production was completed in just four months, meeting all key operational targets. "2026 marks the beginning of large-scale deployment for embodied intelligence," said Dr. Yao Maoqing, Partner, Senior Vice President, President of Embodied Business Unit at AGIBOT. "This project demonstrates that embodied AI is no longer experimental. It is a practical, production-ready capability that can operate reliably under real industrial conditions and deliver measurable economic value."
