ThinkDeep's DeepBrain AI Agents Save French Government €2M, Cut Document Retrieval from 2 Days to 2 Minutes
Content
ThinkDeep AI's DeepBrain multi-agent platform has been deployed across the French Ministry of Economy and Finance and the French Ministry of Defense, where it saved €2 million for the French public at scale by serving 10,000 Ministry of Finance employees, cut document retrieval from two days to two minutes, and reclaimed roughly 1,000 work hours per month for a typical 100-user deployment. "ThinkDeep AI knowledge and expertise have been instrumental in deploying and scaling our generative AI platform," said Thomas Binder, head of AI at the French General Directorate of Public Finances, citing ThinkDeep as a key partner for the national rollout. The French administration handles over 100 million documents each year to deliver tailored responses to citizen inquiries, and public servants must stay current with evolving regulations while citing precise legal references. DeepBrain addresses that workload by letting domain-specific agents pull from PDFs, scanned images, schemas, and videos and cross-reference them against a knowledge graph that maps relationships across sources. The deployment runs on ThinkDeep's full-stack NVIDIA build — DGX H100 systems, H100 and H200 Tensor Core GPUs, NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, NVIDIA NIM microservices for on-premise LLM deployment, NVIDIA NeMo Retriever for retrieval-augmented generation, NVIDIA Llama Nemotron reasoning models, NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails for safe outputs, and NVIDIA Dynamo for inference optimisation. NVIDIA Jetson Orin extends the same stack to edge nodes where data must remain on-site. ThinkDeep also uses NeMo to integrate vision-language models alongside text LLMs, enabling the agents to read scanned images and PDFs in addition to text. Sovereignty is built into the architecture: DeepBrain agents run entirely on customer infrastructure, with data never leaving the deployment site, so the system stays compliant with the European AI Act and French data-residency requirements. The platform already serves fraud-detection and legal-document-processing agents in production, and ThinkDeep is extending the same multi-agent reasoning model to additional French ministries. ThinkDeep and NVIDIA are now deepening their collaboration on multi-agent AI reasoning systems, with applications extending beyond the public sector into finance, healthcare, and logistics.
