Interactive Brokers (Nasdaq: IBKR) expanded its agentic trading capabilities on June 22, 2026, adding ChatGPT and Grok alongside Claude. The integrations are available through certified AI connector marketplaces, allowing clients to research, analyze, and generate instructions using natural language across equities, ETFs, options, futures, and futures options. Milan Galik, CEO of Interactive Brokers, said: "We continue to see growing interest from investors in using artificial intelligence as a more natural way to interact with financial markets. Adding ChatGPT and Grok, together with support for options and futures, expands the ways clients can securely connect AI tools to Interactive Brokers for research, analysis and execution. We will continue to broaden the capabilities and asset classes available through these integrations over time." Clients link their existing IBKR account to ChatGPT, Grok, or Claude using IBKR login at no extra cost. Once connected, they use natural language to explore portfolios, analyze markets, and generate order instructions. Every instruction is reviewed and approved by the client in a dedicated AI Instructions tab before submission to the market. The AI Integration complements IBKR's existing AI-powered tools available directly within IBKR platforms, including AI Screeners (natural-language stock screening across 70,000+ global stocks) and other AI assistants. The new release demonstrates how brokerage AI is evolving from simple Q&A toward agentic execution with explicit human approval gating.
