SPIE France Rolls Out Its AI Hub to 16,300 Employees Across Its Subsidiaries

SPIE France has opened its AI Hub to 16,300 employees of SPIE France and its subsidiaries, announcing the rollout on 29 January 2026. The platform was developed by SPIE ICS, the digital services subsidiary of SPIE France, and is already deployed for SPIE ICS and SPIE Facilities customers. "The use of the AI Hub by several of our customers and its widespread adoption within SPIE France will allow us to identify new use cases and further enrich our AI offering to better address business challenges," said François Gueno, Director of Innovation and R&D at SPIE ICS. SPIE ICS developed the AI Hub to support both its own transformation and that of its customers. It is a platform that allows the creation and use of AI agents leveraging the company's data. The solution is agnostic and can integrate any generative AI model, whether developed by international players or French firms such as Mistral. It meets data sovereignty and security requirements through appropriate hosting decisions and the ability to operate offline for sensitive environments. Users can also choose the right model for each use case, which helps reduce the computing power required. The AI Hub first provides chatbots through a conversational interface. The most representative use cases are pre-sales processes, HR-related questions from employees and specialised professional assistants, for example to help IT management technicians, and employees can create their own assistants. It also enables agent cascades that communicate with each other to orchestrate complex processes: lawyers at SPIE France subsidiaries use it to analyse contracts with a set of around ten highly specialised agents. The AI Hub connects to business software via MCP or traditional APIs, and SPIE ICS architects use it to deploy virtual machines via natural language processing. Together with SPIE Industrie, they are exploring agents capable of interacting directly with industrial machines. SPIE France has also formalised an AI Usage Charter aimed at using AI in a responsible and sparing manner, overseen by dedicated governance.
