In Yichang, Hubei, Xingfa Group's chlor-alkali production facility deployed the TPT (Time-series Pre-trained Transformer) AI model developed by Supcon Technology (中控技术) in partnership with the Industrial AI Data Alliance. The system, known as '81号数字员工' (Digital Employee No. 81), represents the transition of process industry from automation to autonomous operation. The TPT model processes thousands of parameters in real-time—temperature, pressure, flow rates—across tightly coupled production stages. Combined with the UCS (Universal Control System), the system creates a complete 'perception-cognition-decision-execution' closed loop. This enables the chlor-alkali process to self-optimize without human intervention, including monitoring electrolyzer temperatures, adjusting feed rates, and managing the complex coupled reactions in real-time.
