Blue Origin used BlueGPT, its internal multi-agent AI platform built on Amazon Bedrock, the open-source Strands Agents SDK, and Amazon EKS, to design the TEAREx thermal battery for lunar hardware with a team of specialized AI agents working alongside 2–3 human engineers — compressing the hardware development cycle by roughly 90% and accelerating analysis workflows by 6x. BlueGPT now hosts more than 2,700 agents that drive roughly 3.5 million interactions per month, with 70% company-wide adoption.

SpaceXSI says its Grok Voice 1.0 agent enables Starlink's phone sales and customer support experience, resolving 70% of support inquiries with no human in the loop and converting 20% of sales inquiries into purchases. A single agent uses 28 tools across hundreds of support and sales workflows.

Boeing launched Boeing Conversational AI in 2023 as its first large-scale generative AI platform for querying company data securely, and now has more than 70 GenAI applications such as Code Assistant. Its GenAI Academy has trained 8,000 employees and certified 2,600 super users, and office AI co-pilots save staff up to two hours a day.

Austria's Federal Ministry for National Defence deployed "ChatZentDoc," an OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) tool built on IBM watsonx.ai, to help defense analysts query and classify daily-updated open-source data via natural-language questions with source-attributed answers. The NLP system, evolved from IBM Watson Explorer used since 2016, addresses hybrid threats while staying compliant with GDPR, IT Security Act, and EU AI Act.

ESA's Earth Observation initiative, led by the Technical University of Denmark, applies AI Convolutional Neural Networks to automate Arctic sea ice concentration mapping from Sentinel-1 radar imagery. The project addresses the critical gap where Arctic navigation charts are still produced manually, resulting in low map release frequency and uncertainties up to 20%. The AI system processes dual-polarized radar, radiometer, and wind speed data to generate automated ice concentration maps with significantly improved accuracy, resolution, and coverage, directly improving Arctic navigation safety and climate monitoring capabilities.

Blue Origin plans to launch a network of over 50,000 satellites acting as a data center in orbit (Project Sunrise) to perform advanced AI computation in space, shifting energy-intensive compute away from terrestrial data centers using free solar energy.

IEEE Spectrum reports that The Fourth Law, founded by Yaroslav Azhnyuk, has dispatched "more than thousands" of roughly US $50 autonomy modules to troops in eastern Ukraine. Retrofitted on existing drones, they take over navigation during the final approach, which Azhnyuk says raises drone-strike success up to four times.
