Barclays US Consumer Bank leverages GenAI to create comprehensive summaries of customer interactions across contact centers. The AI captures key details including reason for call, actions taken, and next steps — giving agents context for faster, informed decisions. Since rollout in October 2025, more than 8 million customer calls have been summarized by GenAI. The technology reduces call handling times for complex issues and enables agents to focus on improving customer experience.
