NAVER hosted its largest technology conference, DAN25, from November 6–7 at COEX Grand Ballroom in Seoul, with approximately 18,000 technology leaders, developers, and attendees. DAN (meaning 'platform' in Korean) is NAVER's flagship conference showcasing how the company's technology organizations build connections and drive innovation. DAN25 demonstrated how technology deepens connections across people, industries, and everyday life through enhanced connectivity and expanded experiences. A key highlight was NAVER Cloud's interactive exhibition zone themed around the path toward sovereign AI, walking attendees through the entire AI creation process — from data centre infrastructure to cloud platforms, hyperscale AI models, and digital twin applications. NAVER Cloud builds and operates comprehensive AI infrastructure independently, sharing both technological foundations and underlying philosophy. The data centre zone showcased NAVER's hyperscale facilities (Gak Chuncheon and Gak Sejong), highlighting Korea's largest GPU clusters, uninterrupted power systems, and eco-friendly natural cooling design. CLOVA, NAVER's AI platform, was featured as a central part of this sovereign AI ecosystem, enabling enterprises and developers to deploy AI capabilities with data sovereignty and security at scale.
