Industrial Scientific, a Fortive-owned global leader in gas-detection and safety equipment, deployed SensAI — an AI customer-support agent built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using OCI Generative AI (Cohere R+), Generative AI Agents, Autonomous Data Warehouse, Functions, Streaming and APEX — to automate response to roughly 1,200 monthly support tickets. The deployment cut response time from days to minutes, deflected more than 2,230 emails and saved over 185 support hours.

Built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Industrial Scientific's SensAI chatbot handles a queue of roughly 1,200 monthly customer-support requests through eight integrated OCI services — Generative AI (Cohere Command R+ LLM), Generative AI Agents (RAG), Object Storage for the documentation knowledge base, Functions, Streaming, Autonomous Data Warehouse, APEX chatbot UI, and Integration Cloud wired to Salesforce. The deployment has driven a 30% efficiency gain, deflected over 2,230 routine emails into automated responses, and saved more than 185 support hours while collapsing response times from days to minutes.

Midea Cloud, the digital arm of Midea Group, launched the Meiking AIGC 3.1 platform with over 40 industrial AI agents deployed across 158 core business scenarios including production line management, supply chain optimization, and quality control. The company aims to slash costs by approximately CNY 900 million (USD 129 million) through AI applications in 2026, with AI-driven savings growing from CNY 40 million in 2023 to CNY 180 million in 2024.

Midea Group has selected 40+ industrial AI agents from over 10,000 internal agents for external release, with AI-generated savings growing from 40M CNY in 2023 to 600M CNY in 2025, targeting 900M CNY in 2026 — with some domains achieving 90% cost reduction via AI.
