Institut Jantung Negara Achieves HIMSS EMRAM Stage 7, Reducing ICU Mortality to 2.1%
Institut Jantung Negara (National Heart Institute), Malaysia's largest cardiac hospital with 433 beds and over 300,000 annual outpatients, has achieved the country's first HIMSS Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model Stage 7 validation. The journey to Stage 7 required formalizing core modules into dedicated subcommittees under the Information Management Committee, with each led by a clinician and supported by subject matter experts and IT leads.
